Coming in at 98500 words this is the first of a two-part story. Part ‘Stranger Things’, part ‘War of the Worlds’ this introduces us to Elijah, an 11-year old boy who is not what he seems. The revised first four chapters are available here, and the full novel will be published in the second half of this year. I’m quite excited about this one. Different style of writing for me – less wordy and overly descriptive, more tightly packaged and [hopefully] suspenseful to fit with the story and characters. Been a lot of fun to write this, and so will be starting The Watchers Part II right away. Can’t believe I’ve managed to write this one in only 12 months …
In other news, Homo Machina is getting its audiobook release this month, following on Tantor Media acquiring the rights to this after successfully bringing the Trinity Trilogy and Harbinger into this medium.
Homo Machina and Harbinger still selling well, and people seem to be going back and picking up the Trinity Trilogy which is great. Harbinger currently has 2200 ratings/reviews, and indeed all my books are 4.2-4.4/5 stars on Amazon and Goodreads. Loving it that most people are enjoying these stories!
