Coming in at 98500 words this is the first of a two-part story. Part ‘Stranger Things’, part ‘War of the Worlds’ this introduces us to Elijah, an 11-year old boy who is not what he seems. The revised first four chapters are available here, and the full novel will be published in the second half of this year. I’m quite excited about this one. Different style of writing for me – less wordy and overly descriptive, more tightly packaged and [hopefully] suspenseful to fit with the story and characters. Been a lot of fun to
